Forma Data Management is a cloud-based common data environment on the Autodesk Forma platform, facilitating concurrent collaboration between multiple users. Does working together on the same project pose challenges for the team, particularly when multiple users are working on the same set of drawings? Are you experiencing any synchronization issues while collaborating on the same project drawings? Do you encounter issues when notifications about one user's edits are not sent to the other users? Collaboration becomes significantly more productive when the system operates as anticipated and delivers instant results. With Forma Data Management project synchronization enhancement in AutoCAD Architecture software and AutoCAD MEP toolset now resolves the challenges and alleviates our burdens. The projects hosted on Forma Data Management now support automatic synchronization of changes across multiple users. Now two or more users can collaborate on a project across offices and locations. Users can identify if a drawing is available for editing or locked by others.

Don't just analyze your storm pipe networks; design them in one go with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage Ultimate software. Supercharge your workflow using Forma Data Management software to store rainfall data and other design resources. Exchange data between Civil 3D and InfoDrainage for green infrastructure efficiency. Save time by storing pipe exchange settings and collaborating in the cloud.

AutoCAD paves the way for collaboration across people, devices, and platforms that is designed to help decision-makers optimize their workflows. Learn about how you can further enhance and simplify this experience for your teams by leveraging a complete cloud-based document management and common data environment with Forma Data Management.

Forma Data Management now include workflows in support of ISO 19650 – an international design and construction information management standard. Governments across the world realize that inconsistent standards and practices are leading to huge inefficiencies and are mandating that these processes are adhered to. Unforeseen events like Covid have exposed how quickly things can change and we’ve have had to learn the hard way that the industry needs to be better prepared for the future. The need for a robust and powerful CDE solution is now more important than ever. Forma Data Management provides comprehensive capabilities for managing construction records through their entire life cycle and it’s all in the cloud! In this class we will demonstrate how document controllers can manage and optimize the document management process, handle the review, exchange, and distribution of project drawings, models, all while maintaining a consistent naming standard.

Managing AutoCAD projects in shared environments often leads to broken references, inconsistent templates, and file conflicts. This session will focus on workflows using AutoCAD and Autodesk Forma Data Management (formerly Autodesk Docs) to bring control and consistency to multi-user projects. You'll learn how to structure projects, manage permissions, maintain reference integrity using Connected References, and manage multi-user editing using checkout workflows. This session will also demonstrate how to deploy project-aware standards using Connected Support Files, coordinate deliverables using the new Connected Sheet Set Manager, and apply repeatable workflows to improve consistency and reduce errors across teams.

Autodesk Forma Data Management Essentials is now included with stand-alone AutoCAD subscriptions, connecting desktop design workflows to unified, cloud-based project data without changing how your team works. In this technical deep dive, we'll show CAD managers how to turn fragmented file management into integrated workflows that reduce friction and accelerate delivery for your teams. We'll look at Connected Support Files for project-aware support files that load automatically, Connected References that fixes broken xrefs, Connected Sheet Set Manager, Checkout, and much more.

See how AutoCAD software and Forma Data Management (formerly Autodesk Docs) work together so your team can collaborate without confusion. This hands-on session will walk you through Share sending view or edit links so others can open drawings in the browser or in AutoCAD on the web and Trace adding markups on a syncing overlay and bringing them into the main drawing. You'll try multi-user markups so several people can add feedback to the same design from web and desktop, and see how to use checkout to reserve entities for edit, submit for review, then merge approved checkout back into the drawing. Whether you work in AutoCAD desktop, on the web, or with Forma Data Management, you'll leave with a clear workflow to share, review, and manage drawings as a team.

Architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) firms want better automation, reporting, and AI outcomes. But inconsistent Revit parameters, unmanaged content, weak naming standards, and disconnected Autodesk Forma Data Management workflows often get in the way. This session will give BIM, virtual design and construction (VDC), and digital practice leaders a practical 90-day scorecard for identifying the data that matters most, scoring current-state readiness, and prioritizing what to fix first. You'll see how to evaluate model health, content governance, metadata, coordination workflows, and handoff structure so you can build a realistic road map for stronger delivery, better collaboration, and future AI readiness.

The entire rail system design process is now managed digitally using Forma Data Management software. Instead of relying on traditional email-based file sharing and approvals, all stakeholders—including the client, consultant, and designer—collaborate in real time on a single digital platform. As a result, delays in approval phases have been significantly reduced, achieving up to 70% savings in paper usage and up to 30% time efficiency in past projects. For upcoming projects, the goal is to implement a fully digital, paperless workflow that boosts Sustainable Design and operational efficiency across the entire design phase.
