This class will show how you can share AutoCAD Plant 3D software with BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team) to collaborate within your company or with your customer. We'll show how to bring your AutoCAD Plant 3D project into the cloud and how to work with the project through BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team.

Collaboration is the key to project success. Waste and inefficiency is expected in the transition of information from design team to trade partners. In this class, we'll share our experience of moving the fabrication drawings left into the design phase using a unified workflow on a traditional design-build project. With this workflow, we minimize the waste in transition and create a more efficient and leaner process. We'll identify the advantages of a unified workflow in the design phase and how it benefits the project team and the owner. We'll also review the process and software used to achieve this collaboration-we used Collaboration for Revit cloud service and BIM 360 Team software as the collaboration platform for the project, in conjunction with BIM 360 Glue software for coordination and design review during the construction document phase. We'll share our feedback and lessons learned, along with any tips and work-arounds to help with the use of Collaboration for Revit and BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team) for interdisciplinary collaboration.

This session will demonstrate how architects, engineers, and contractors have been using the cloud to communicate and collaborate in designing and currently building Norway's biggest shopping center. Using collaboration for Revit software, BIM 360 Team software, and the Forge platform to view 3D models, it has been possible to identify and solve problems more quickly than in a traditional design process. Workflows, tips, and tricks will be essential in this lecture.

Design teams are becoming increasingly geographically diverse. Architects, designers, and consulting engineers for projects of any type or scale could be located in multiple organizations, offices, states, and even countries. How do you get the entire team to collaborate effectively in a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment? BIM 360 Design is a cloud-based service that eliminates many of the obstacles of other collaboration solutions. This session is designed to highlight the benefits and limitations of BIM 360 Design, and to provide guidelines for building trust within a design team and managing expectations for success. Specific topics will include working in a high-trust environment, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the BIM 360 Design environment, identifying potential BIM 360 Design pitfalls and learning how to avoid them, discovering the importance of a BIM deployment plan for BIM 360 Design projects, and reviewing BIM deployment guidelines for projects that will utilize BIM 360 Design.

In this class, we'll teach you several ways to easily share your files using tools like AutoCAD software and the cloud. We'll take a close look at the cloud feature Share Design View inside of AutoCAD, and show how you can quickly and easily share files with others for quick collaboration. We'll also take a look at A360 FREE and how you can use it to quickly view and share more than 50 different file types. This is a little-known online viewer with some very powerful features. We'll take a look at A360 Drive and how you can use it for a more permanent form of collaboration with both co-workers and clients. We'll also look at team-based cloud products like BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team). We'll explain the differences between these cloud products, and help you better understand which will work best for you. At the end of this class, you'll have a better understanding of what the different Autodesk cloud products are and when to use them.

Combining the right processes with Autodesk technology is delivering unprecedented collaboration, despite each of the design teams having resources scattered around the world. This session will showcase how the project team has used Collaboration for Revit cloud service and BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team), as well as highlight some of the workflows used to promote efficiency in production.

This session will discuss the BIM 360 portfolio and how it can support you in design through to construction. You will get hands-on with Revit and Collaboration for Revit using BIM 360 Team to communicate with other team members to resolve design issues faster. Use BIM 360 Glue to spell-check your models against other disciplines. You will then investigate how your design can be taken out to site to help with commissioning and progress tracking.

Airport design necessitates collaboration between numerous teams with a wide range of skill sets generally coming from various locations. This requires well-established strategies and methodical use of tools and technologies for a successful delivery of a large-scale project. This session will present strategies for utilizing cloud collaboration tools such as Collaboration for Revit, BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team), BIM 360 Glue software, and BIM 360 Docs software in order to help teams communicate and collaborate effectively in delivering a complex project. We will showcase San Francisco's $2.4 billion International Airport project as an example of utilizing these strategies to enable effective collaboration between more than 200 architects, engineers, and builders from Woods Bagot, HKS Architects, Gensler, and numerous core trades and consultants on this design-build project. This session will present Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies for cloud collaboration and data management on airport projects.

In this class, we will share our experience with the rollout of C4R NextGen and BIM 360 Team Collaboration on projects all around the globe. These new tools helped Arcadis to work more efficiently with their internal and external teams and bring collaboration to the next level. The implementation of C4R NextGen and Team Collaboration are a next step in the "From 12 to many" project. The "lighthouse" projects will be extended with the new technologies and will be a standard for all projects in the region. Autodesk will help Arcadis to develop a standard, connected to and integrated with the current BIM 360 workflows.

The roundtable is designed to connect like-minded individuals to share their understanding and experiences around Building Information Modeling (BIM)—the mindset, the process, and the technologies that shape BIM for the construction industry. Collaboration for AutoCAD Plant 3D software is a great tool for facilitating owner reviews. By keeping the information in the cloud and providing access to owners earlier in the project, it is much easier to implement the changes than it is at a more traditional stage of the project. Learn different strategies for how to use this technology for different types of clients, from those who are familiar with AutoCAD software to those with more of 2D backgrounds. This class utilizes BIM 360 software on the web, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Navisworks software.

We will present a case study on a Building Information Modeling (BIM) project utilizing Revit software, BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team), and Collaboration for Revit cloud service for work sharing between Arcadis and multiple subconsultants. This project started in January 2016 and was managed by Arcadis as the lead engineering firm for the project, working with Autodesk as a consulting service. Autodesk provided mentoring services to assist with the adoption of Collaboration for Revit. In the class, we'll share project success criteria, and setup in Collaboration for Revit and BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team. We'll also share our best practices and workflow, troubleshooting, and lessons learned. Collaboration for Revit cloud service has fundamentally changed the way the architecture, engineering, and construction industry works on complex projects that require collaborative workflows. This class will focus on explaining the concept of Collaboration for Revit. We'll demonstrate the fundamentals of using collaborative workflows using Collaboration for Revit, and illustrate how multiple stakeholders can work on the same model in the cloud. My co-speaker-the national Building Information Modeling (BIM) manager of a large architectural firm-will explain how their company used Collaboration for Revit to deliver complex projects on time and on budget using real collaboration on the firm's Revit models.

This talk will provide an inside look at the benefits, hurdles, and vision of using reality capture technologies in practice to take on the intricacies of building construction. The class will demonstrate workflows that adopt laser scanning, spherical photography, and digital laser layout and how they enable more precise construction, adjust sequence for prefabrication, inform early business decisions, and produce a model that mitigates risk associated with designing and building around existing conditions. See how these workflows are achieved using ReCap software, Revit software, and custom tools, along with best practices using Collaboration for Revit cloud service and BIM 360 software.

This class will illustrate the use of Autodesk products such as Revit software, BIM 360 Glue software, BIM 360 Field software, and BIM 360 Team . It will also cover how projects are successfully used to collect asset data in design through construction. It will demonstrate the importance of a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow, starting with a BIM Execution Plan through project submittal BIM reviews to keep consultants on track and get the correct required owner data. It will also show quick Dynamo scripts used to perform BIM reviews and BIM model cleanup for the facility models. This class will feature a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Asset Management BIM Program for the Denver International Airport.
