The Industrial Commons (TIC), the Autodesk Foundation and Microdesk Co-Innovation Lab cooperated to construct a net-zero readiness foundation and strategy for the development of TIC’s Innovation Campus. This campus will expand TIC’s capacity; founding and scaling employee owned manufacturing enterprises, and building a working class that erases the inequities of generational poverty. We set up the Common Data Environment (CDE) in the Autodesk Construction Cloud and established standards to support the processes of predictive site, building, and carbon performance evaluations, leveraging technologies from the Autodesk ecosystem and connected data. Stakeholders can leverage this data and processes to support a strategy for establishing resilient and low-carbon manufacturing by specifying information requirements and having a well-thought-out CDE. Learn how we assisted TIC in developing comprehensive sustainable processes that tracks outputs, optimize operations, and deepens their impact.
- Identify the required information to support the predictive site, building, and carbon performance evaluations.
- Implement standards and strategies using ACC to achieve net-zero readiness.
- Deploy ACC as a CDE to promote teamwork and capture essential project data to support performance analyses.
- Establish the data-connected BIM ecosystem to encourage collaboration and predictive analysis.
