Session Description
By introducing the BIM and Autodesk Platforms in our company's processes, we had solid time gain, being able to develop all the projects and bills of material for a 5MW plant in a period of 30 days, which did not exist until then. We achieved time savings of up to 75% compared to a normal 2D design model and manual bill creation.
In this way, we have developed process and issue controls in Autodesk Build, which allow for visual and standard control in almost 80 power plant projects in parallel development. This decision made it possible for us to have only 12 project coordinators who correct and point out technical and quality problems and predict failures in a row of more than 550 project sheets, memorials, and accounts per week.
A team needs to be understood and empowered, and with controls, we can see individual development over time.
The photovoltaic array seems to be the future of energy and we race to meet all possible UN sustainable development goals, five of which are today.
Learning Objectives
- Design templates to improve the market standards and get project precision and quality
- Solve issues in a faster and visual way within Autodesk Build
- Evaluate projects time to deliver and quality as demanded standards
- Implement road map to get failure points at the project development
