Session Description

BIM adoption in the National Transportation Infrastructure Department-DNIT, aims to meet the Federal Decree n. º 10.306/2020 which instates BIM usage at engineering works done by either organizations or entities of the Public Administration.
In this context, DNIT operates in the reinforcement and rehabilitation of Special Engineering Structures within the PROARTE, aiming to adhere to internal norms and regulations which define the procedure for prioritizing projects from said programme and meeting the requirement for undertaking projects, programs and other initiatives of medium to large relevance at BIM adoption in accordance to the Federal Decree.
Therefore, with the PROARTE programme, DNIT brings the next step for the National Road Infrastructure improving BIM adoption within itself and stablishing goals and plans for the development of the referred activities.
