AI is increasing output across construction teams, but many leaders are seeing a quieter problem: more-polished work, less ownership. With more options come harder decisions. This strategy talk will use one concrete story and a practical framework to show how to adopt AI without eroding the judgment that experienced builders, designers, and owners have earned the hard way. You'll learn how to separate AI-assisted production from the human decision making that takes decades to develop. We'll discuss how leaders in the industry add thinking checkpoints within workflows that make teams faster while preserving their precious (and playful) cognition.

Project delivery is often fragmented across systems, with disconnected data between common data environments (CDEs), QA/QC, electronic document management systems (EDMSs), and handover processes creating inefficiencies and delays. You'll learn how to structure and manage data from design through construction to achieve progressive closeout and successful handover. Real-world examples will demonstrate how connected workflows improve data quality, reduce rework, and enable earlier, more reliable project completion.

Autodesk Forma Site Design allows infrastructure professionals to take the lead in project setup by providing a high-fidelity data environment from the very beginning. This session will deliver a repeatable, production-ready simulation workflow for engineers working with vibrating systems across mining, manufacturing, and machinery design.

What if anyone could automate Revit software without writing a single line of code? This session introduces an open-source AI agent that turns natural language into executable Revit operations. Built on retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and Model Context Protocol (MCP), it retrieves knowledge from Revit API Docs, generates C# code, and executes it inside Revit in real time. Key highlights include the following: There are no hardcoded rules the large language model (LLM) reasons from real API signatures. There are no preset commands never-seen operations are reasoned and created on the fly. Successful operations solidify into reusable templates non-developers replay them instantly. And there's a live Revit connection via TCP JSON-RPC with Roslyn dynamic compilation. No C# experience or plug-in background is needed. And there's no command library to maintain. Just describe what you want.

With more than 700 system and environment variables inside AutoCAD software, it's difficult for anyone to know them all. This class will walk through the standard AutoCAD options for learning the system variables, and also provide a free LISP application to browse and change the variables in a dialog. By the time the class is finished, you will be able to find and change any of these variables easily.

What if one AI prompt returned live QTO, carbon, cost, compliance, and a 4D schedule from your Revit models in Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) no exports or plug-ins? This session will present a working BIM Intelligence Agent built at the APS Accelerator Bangalore 2026 in four days, connecting to the AEC Data Model GraphQL API via Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Azure GPT-4.1. Ten BIM intelligence tools, all natural language. One conversation, zero manual work. Learn the architecture, undocumented GraphQL patterns, 3LO OAuth flows, and 10 production bugs fixed. Code shared.

Clear diagrams are critical for translating MEP designs into something contractors can build in the field. However, creating those diagrams is often a slow, manual process drawing connection lines, placing detail items, and constantly checking the diagram against the model. Electrical one-line diagrams are prime examples, regularly taking several hours to draft for each project. What if that process could happen automatically? This session will demonstrate how you can use model data to generate clean, accurate one-line diagrams with the click of a button. Using pyRevit as the backdrop, we'll walk through the process of transforming structured model information into fully drafted diagrams reducing hours of manual drafting down to seconds.

In large-scale infrastructure, "coordination chaos" is a common reality. When teams use different tools and inconsistent methods, design mistakes are often caught too late. This leads to expensive rework, missed deadlines, and increased project risk. As projects grow across disciplines, keeping everyone aligned becomes a massive challenge. In this session, we'll share how Ramboll tamed this complexity by building a standardized, scalable framework using Autodesk Forma industry cloud (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud). Using the 2025 IFC Viewer, Autodesk Platform Services, and Insight dashboards, Ramboll moved from disconnected software to a single, unified system. We've aligned our digital process with ISO 19650 to ensure data moves smoothly from one project phase to the next.

Manufacturing organizations often struggle with disconnected systems across sales, engineering, and production. This class will show how Vault PLM software forms the backbone of a connected digital thread spanning customer relationship management (CRM), CAD, product data management (PDM), product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing execution systems (MES), and enterprise resource planning (ERP). Starting from a CRM order, we'll demonstrate rule-based CAD automation, engineering data management in Vault, and seamless Item and BOM synchronization into Autodesk Fusion Manage driven by the built-in connector. Design reviews are handled through a web interface powered by the Vault Data API, manufacturing execution runs in Autodesk Fusion Operations, and business data flows into ERP event-driven and AI-assisted. See how Vault PLM bridges engineering and enterprise to streamline the journey, from order to delivery.

Come to this session to cut through the hype with tips, tricks, and insights for getting real results from AI, knowing when to trust it, when to push back, and how to build automation that fulfills the prompt.

Immersive technologies are often promoted as the future of model coordination, yet most teams remain stuck in screen sharing and pilot demos. This session challenges that pattern, presenting a practical playbook for using shared immersive space as a deliberate coordination tool rather than a novelty. Through real project scenarios, it shows when XR enables faster understanding and better decisions, when desktop review works better, and how to structure immersive meetings so technical and non-technical stakeholders collaborate effectively. Hardware, visualization, and platforms matter but only when paired with clear intent, facilitation, and decision focused workflows.
