Sam Haynor likes trash. Junk. Recyling. Sticks. Bones. Rocks. Things that zap. Things that break. Things that boom. As long as it helps his students learn and connect things about the world around them, Sam will explore it. His work is primarily in creating low-cost science exhibits, experiences, and installations that make kids go, "Huh!?" and can be made by science educators, families, and youth themselves. He is working to make science education equitable regardless of background, and to encourage youth of the Bay Area to explore by creation.
