What a great turn-out at the show! This year, we had over 12 amazing guest speakers in our theater presentations, including: Brickyard VFX, CBS Corporation Boston, Cutting Edge, Industrial Light & Magic, Mokko Studio, The Orphanage, Pixel Blues, R!OT, Sway, and Technicolor. Our speakers talked about a wide range of high-profile viewing on our screens today-from the biggest effects-laced films to highly finished commercials, to leading station idents-War of the Worlds (ILM), King Kong (Weta Digital) Aeon Flux (The Orphanage), Sony (Technicolor), ESPN (Brickyard VFX), Eminem (Pixel Blues) to name a few!

Our training sessions were also a smashing success!
We had over 90 attendees at our Discreet Flame session, and well over 80 for our Discreet Smoke session. This year our guest speakers included: Jake Parker, Senior Inferno Artist, Crash & Sue's; Philippe Soeiro, Autodesk Customer Solutions Manager and Workflow Architect (former Artistic Director, Éclair Laboratoires); Michael Ruzicka, Post Production Manager, CBS Corporation/Boston; and C.E. Raum, Senior Visual Effects Artist at R!OT.

We are planning to organize training sessions again next year, stay tuned for more information as we get closer to NAB 2007!
