Save and load preferences

Save the current option settings in a file, or load the settings from a saved file.

Save the current option box settings

Choose Preferences > User options > Save options.

NoteYou cannot replace the system default file named Studio_user_options. You must provide a different name.

NoteYou can also create an options file named user_options. This file is loaded whenever AliasStudio is run and sets the initial values of AliasStudio’ option boxes.

Retrieve option box settings

Choose Preferences > User options > Retrieve options.

NoteYou can also load a file named Alias_Options to reset AliasStudio to the original default settings shipped with the software.
