Exploded views

INVENTOR, INVENTOR PROFESSIONAL

Use exploded views of complex assemblies in your product documentation, manuals, and assembly instructions. To create the views in Inventor:

  • Choose the Auto Explode tool to reorient all the parts in your assembly, in one step.
  • Or maintain full control, and define the exact dimensions and move parts around using a triad.

Once your exploded views are ready, set up sequences that show each step in the assembly process, and animate them to show how it all goes together. (video: 1:41 min.)
