This letter informs Licensees that they must re-register under the Autodesk Developer Network to use Heidi for commercial purposes.

Dear Heidi Licensee:

This letter is to inform you that Autodesk has exercised its right to terminate licenses prior to October 1, 1998 under Section 4.2 of the Electronic End User License Agreement for the Heidi Developer's Kit Source Code. Starting from October 1998 Heidi is available for commercial use only to members of the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN). Individual non-commercial users may still use the free registration and download from the web.

If you are an individual, non-commercial user of Heidi you should destroy any version of the Heidi Developer's Kit prior to October 1998. The latest Heidi Developer's Kit is now available for download on Autodesk's web site. In order to obtain a current valid license to Heidi, please go to the Heidi web page, register completely and accurately, and download Heidi. Please note that in order to obtain a valid license for Heidi you must provide accurate information when you register. The Heidi Registration page is located at www.autodesk.com/heidi

If you have incorporated Heidi into a commercial product prior to October 1998, note that Heidi must have been removed from that commercial product by June 1, 1999. You may not incorporate Heidi into any additional products unless you have re-registered and become a member of ADN. If you would like to license Heidi for commercial use, for that product or additional products please go to our ADN web page to apply to the Autodesk Developer Network.
