Version 9.2 - Public
The same graphics system used by AutoCAD 2009 is available for driver writers and developers world wide. Heidi 9.2 is used to support the display and plotting features for AutoCAD 2009.
Note: Heidi 9.x drivers are not backwards compatible with AutoCAD 2004, 2005, or 2006. Heidi 8.x drivers are not forwards compatible with AutoCAD 2007, 2008 or 2009.
Heidi runs under Windows NT, 2000, XP
(Professional, Home Edition or Tablet PC Edition), or Vista using the Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET 2005 and Visual C++® 8.0 compiler.
Using the
Guide
To view the Heidi Developer Guide, open the file
..\HeidiFrms.html . This
will give you five convenient frames with the contents for locating and
viewing pages. For a simpler format with two frames, start with
..\2HeidiFrms.html.

You can view the latest updated public guide at http://www.autodesk.com/heididg.
If you are copying the guide to your computer,
place \help and all of its subdirectories under one directory and start
with this file, index.html. You can also obtain a complete copy in the
development kit from the Heidi web page at http://www.autodesk.com/heidi by
filling out the license agreement.
The guide is written in html and most browsers
should be compatible.
