Moonhie Chin

Senior Vice President, Global Customer Support & Operations

Moonhie Chin is the Senior Vice President of Global Customer Support and Operations (GCSO). She manages Customer Service & Support, Partner & Product Services, Business Analysis & Readiness, the Autodesk Knowledge Platforms, and the Enterprise Data Management functions. She is also responsible for strategic initiatives which aim to transform the way Autodesk does business as well as the oversight of programs and initiatives that seek to re-design and strengthen Autodesk’s business operations.

GCSO team’s charter is to transform the way our customers access, learn and adopt our products by building and delivering the next generation of learning and support services with a focus on the customer’s experience and integrated service design to improve customer satisfaction and increase retention.

Chin is passionate about improving the end to end experience for customers and improving productivity for both Autodesk and our partners. Most recently, she initiated a corporate-wide project to revamp the service design focus and instituted policy simplification to provide the foundation to establish true “ease of doing business” for our customers – which is a key supporting plan in Autodesk’s go-to-market strategy. GCSO also started incubating an ecosystem where customers can have a more inviting experience while connecting with Autodesk through self-service and other interaction methods. More importantly, customers can also help each other in this ecosystem by contributing learning and support content and knowledge.

Chin has held several executive roles during her tenure with Autodesk, including Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Operations, Vice President of Business Operations for Location Services and Vice President of Business Administration, as well as other leadership positions in software development, project management, subscription services, and other areas.

Before joining Autodesk in 1989, Chin spent eight years at General Electric. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
