Jimmy Chion

Beam is a kinetic sculpture that uses spinning discs to reflect a single line of light to make it appear as if it is many lines of light, twisting and turning in many directions. In Beam I, the reflective discs are made of black plastic; in Beam II, the discs are glass, but still reflect the neon light in the middle.
